LP will not repair itself, once damage is done (like from Grade 3 and 4) you can't get back what has been lost, which is the cartilage that is wear away from the luxation. However, the rate at which one can go from Grade 1 to 2 to 3 and then to 4 is different for each dog. Meaning, one can have a Grade 1 for their whole life. Where as 'others' can quickly go from Grade 1 to Grade 3, etc....

Once cartilage is worn away you will have bone rubbing on bone (not a good feeling)...

After I saw 2 different Vets at 2 different practices, then I saw 2 different Ortho Specialists from 2 different practices, then I researched and digested it all. Then Roxy started to limp and carry her leg frequently, that's when I knew it was time
