I know this is dugusting in our minds but the reason some do this is
because of what is in the Poop. It's appealing to them because of what
they ate. They do have, sorry I don't know the name, a product that
you can put into their food, tasteless, that makes their poop distasteful
to them. I am sure you can purchase this in any pet store.
Same with eating rabbit poop, deer poop etc. It's considered a delicacy
because of what's in the poop. Grain, meat, berries etc. YUK to us and yummy to them
