While spiders don't bother me too much - living in the country you tend to get used to them - I still will usually kill one if I see it in the house - if only for the reason that I don't want to clean cobwebs!
We do have quite a few daddy long-legs out in the garage. They are a little creepy too but they are the "good guys"!! They are probably why we don't have other spiders in the house very often. I will hold one of those and let it crawl on my arm sometimes. They're pretty neat.
