I'm so excited. We are having an Indiana Yorkie Meet-up on October 4th at 12:00 at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis. (anyone around us is welcome to attend and it will be lots of fun) I got a lady in our area Carol Plye to be our guest speaker. Her Yorkie Lily is a therapy dog and they have started a reading program at their elementary school. She said its amazing how kids who were having trouble reading, now want to read and are doing better because of the reading program. I think this is a way for us to give back. Check into the therapy dog program in your area, Maybe start a reading program at your school. I'm going to get Bella started in the Obedience Training Club then get registered and pass the test for the Therapy Dog Program.
