Here in Alberta it is almost impossible to buy a registered yorkie with breeding rights. I have heard of cases where people have had to spend over $2000 on females that were over 2 years old just to have one with full registration to breed. It seems that most of the breeders here sell with a spade/neuter contract and are extremely careful of who they give breeding rights to. |
