We went to Hawaii earlier this summer and I checked, there is a minimum of 7days (or 5) quarantine, they have to have had 2 rabies shots and a bunch of other stuff, they take the dog from the plane to the quarantine place and it sounds like a lot of stress for the dog!
Find a good place here, in Hawaii you will be doing alot of stuff they won't let you bring your puppy anyway. He would spend alot of time alone!
