Perhaps you can learn how to groom him? I like grooming my dogs because I can go at my pace and let the dogs relax. My boyfriends cocker was taken to a groomer and hated it. He is a sensitive guy and is one of those dogs that you can just see the fear pouring out. I decided to start grooming him and now he just sits there and lets me.… I let him have breaks in between. Also getting them use to clippers. I would leave them and set them beside me while we played , then eventually put them against him. He does great now.
I started with Suri a few days ago, she let me shave her bum and her ears.
