Ya know, I can really imagine how much this must hurt your feelings because we really do treat these little furbutts like OUR CHILDREN (well I think
most here do anyway) and if our hubbies acted like they didn't really care for them, or didn't ever show them any affection, well, that would really hurt OUR feelings as "mommies"
To be honest, when I told my hubby I wanted a Yorkie he was like "
OMG -
A YORKIE!?!??? NO WAY, NOT IN THIS HOUSE!" - he honestly didn't like the breed AT ALL. Reason being was because his aunt had a mean little turd (she was a Yorkie lol) that would bark 24/7 and bite you all the time
Well, after being around this sassy little thing for years and years, he finally made up his mind that "ALL" Yorkies were like this, and he wanted nothing to do with any of them
Well, I explained to him that they weren't ALL like this....that ANY breed could have "mean" dogs - it just depends on THE DOG itself...and I basically told him that I was getting a Yorkie whether he liked it or not, HAH!!
So I got one (my Stud-Man
) and of course he fell in love and now that is HIS BOY...don't dare touch him and blah blah blah LOL....Steddy is his little man...and Tator is his "baby girl"
So thank goodness he came around.
HOWEVER....if he HADN'T I would have felt just as you are feeling now, really mad, hurt and upset
Have you ever asked your hubby SPECIFICALLY what he doesn't like about them?? Or why he doesn't like them?? Is he just a bigger dog kinda guy??
