I wonder if he's having a bit of a colon spasm or something. Or gas where it almost feels like "cramps", which could be kind of painful. Hmmm, it seems like you feel like it's related to digestion...so it does make me think along the lines of what you're thinking...i.e., gas, crampy feelings maybe? Are you feeding veggies?
