well both NEED to be supplemented . And from what I can see- looking at Dr. Pitcairn's guide to healthy cats and dogs- there isn't much difference. I haven't read it cover to cover regarding cats but they seem to eat the same protien sources and both need similar supplements. HOpefully someone else can come and shed more light.
