Roxy has 3 or 4 certain toys that she "kills" every time she play with them. But she is fine with everything else, so I just let her. She is also totally focused when she's digging - so much so that the only way to distract her without getting bit is by dropping a garbage can lid right beside her. Once she's distracted, she's fine. I consider it energy well spent since it does eventually tire her out
. Hopefully, your baby is just practicing her instincts.
