I started brushing mines as soon as I got them. Boy their breath was stinky from the breeder! I think the younger you brush the better they will be accustomed to this ritual as they grow older. I started using my finger when they were babies not the actual brush. We progressed to the brush when they mouth fit the smallest brush I could find.
