Hi! Our Gracie is 4 years old. She is super sweet and when you are home she wants to lay ON you. She is very good when she is left alone, she simply curls up on a couch pillow like a good girl. She does not bark unless someone comes to the door. She is great on walks and doesn't even bark at other dogs. She is really just a super little thing!
Her baby is 10 weeks old now and the baby doesn't bark unless she is playing. She lets you snuggle her and lays still when you hold her. To tiny to roam free at night the baby sleeps in a human playpen. She knows it's bed time when I put the cabana top on and cover it up! She doesn't make a peep until she hears me the next morning.
I have no fear of leaving her alone. I leave fresh water and dry kibble in a non tip bowl.
Try not to worry to much. It's ok to leave your baby with fresh food and water. The more worried you are the more unsure she will be. Praise her for staying quiet and don't reward her for barking at things she shouldn't. She will learn from your praise what you want from her. Yorkies love to make their people happy. |
