I split the dose between my two Yorkies (3.5 lbs. and 6 lbs.). According to the dose, it was still 50% more than what they needed

I used a small syringe (a needle without the needle) so that I could accurately measure the amount given to each of the dogs. The syringe also made it easy to apply.

I'm switching my dogs over to Comfortis today. It's a newly FDA approved flea preventative, but what I really like about it is that the smallest dose is for 5-10 lb. dogs. Therefore, they won't be overdosed as badly as they are with other meds.
