 Maximus just threw up his food......
I started changing Maximus over to Merrick's grammy pot pie last night mixed in with his dinner....he LOVBED it...the poor baby kept going back to his bowl and just licking it..lol, I had to give him 3 more tsps...but when he went back again...I knew he was just being a hoarder!!! So we went to Petsmart and I got him a busy bone...I have never gone one for him but the lady behind the counter said her yorkie LOVED them..it has a meaty middle but it is NOT rawhide...so although it looks big nd I didn't think Maximus would like he he seems to love it...this morning I woke up and gave Maximus his food which he ate in 3 secvonds flat...he just threw up...whole pieces (which means he didn't even chew)...do you think he ate it too fast or do you think the bone cold still have somethign to with it this much later ??? (almost 12 hours) Secdonly...do you think I should wait and give him breakfast again in about 30 mins. with a toy bone in his bowl so that he eats slower (suggessted by the vet)??? Or should I stop mixing the food right now??? |
