I'm going out of town for a couple of days tomorrow with my parents and we're taking Pippin. This is his third road trip and he's excited about it, he even gets his own backpack that has all of his toys, shirts, food bowls and everything else we need for a hotel stay. His first road trip he was only 4 months old and slept in his kennel the whole way. His second road trip he lid down in the back with my mom almost the whole way. We had to stop on the side of the road once for him to pee. He did really good his first time staying in a hotel room, had a couple of 3 am barkings but once we lied and told him it was just the tv that was making noise he went right back to sleep.
I'm excited about taking him on a road trip again and putting him in doggy day care at the pet store in the mall. They have an area for smaller dogs as well and he seemed okay. I think I'm gonna go to Petsmart and get him some pj's and possibly a snow suit. We get really cold winters here where I live in Canada and Pippin got a haircut and he's a little too short so I don't want him freezing during the winter.
