Lilly was spayed on Friday morning. I've been trying to keep an eye on the area so I can make sure it heals right. I've noticed an area below her spay area that looks blue
. Almost like it's bruised or something. At first I thought it was like where you were seeing into her stomach but my boyfriend said it was probably just bruising. Is this common or what? I can try to take a picture if it's needed.
Also, is it ok if I give her Children's Benadryl? How much do I give? I can't remember what the doctor said when I asked before. She weighs almost 9 lbs. Her skin is bothering her (I guess where I didn't bathe her before the spay) so I need to give her some so she isn't biting every 5 seconds.
