well first thought is you need a new vet. Any vet that is trying to get you to do something you dont' want to do... is done in my opinion. But on the topic of vaccines.. from what i've read the Corona vaccine is even worse than the lepto. Layla had neither and never will. My vet wrote a note in her file and should she come in with the symptoms of either of those diseases it will be the first thing she tests for. Finding a good vet is tough.. but worth it when you get the one you've been looking for it is such a feeling of relief. Can you try a topical heartworm? I use revolution and i put it on Layla's back every month. Good luck! Stick up for your pup.. no one else will.
