You have to remember that the silky came from combining the yorkie and the Australian terrier. The silky as a breed isn't very old and your still going to get alot of variation within the breed. They are usually longer in body, longer in muzzle, with a thinner, straighter coat. If you feel the coat it's more like the feel of an asian's hair, not quite as fine as the yorkie. The breeds resemble each other quite a bit when poorly bred.
