She'll pant alot for the next few days. Her uterus is still contracting to shut itself down. She'll be very hesitant to leave her pups so you might want to plan a breakfast in bed, maybe 2 or 3 for her. I give my gals esbilac and egg, hand feed them baked chicken, and bring the water to them. Make sure she gets out to potty occasionally. I had one that laid in her whelping box so long that she could hardly walk when I finally insisted that she take a break. Make sure that no one disturbs the pups while she is gone or she won't trust you to leave her nest again. When you want to handle the pups make sure that you do it right there where she can supervise and not behind her back. Take her temperature at least daily to make sure that she has no fever. Check her vulva, anus, and teats to make sure that nothing is red or swollen and that there are no blockages. Cheese helps if she gets a bit of diarhea. Enjoy your litter and good luck with your gal.
