My friend has a Silkie and she has TERRIBLE skin issues....her vet has her Iams Veterinary Formula Skin and Coat Response KO/Canine Dry Formula. I looked up the ingredients on dogfoodanalysis and the main ingred. is
wheat. Now, why would the vet recommend this food? I'm trying to convince her to change her food to a grainless one, but she doesn't want to go against the vet's recommendation. Any advice....? This poor dog has no hair on her feet...help!
