@ bking...i'm just curious, how did you know it was a scam?
i think i almost fell into one of these scams... i saw a free adoption ad on a website and when i emailed the owner he said i'd be shouldering bthe shipping cost...but he was very far away from my area so i lost interest...and now, i just got a puppy at a local breeder and i'm very happy =)
