 Sad news
Little Batman did not make it. We met the vet at 6 on Sunday morning. She said his lungs were full of fluid. She thought he might have had liver shunt disease. Possibly the treat aggravated his condition but was not the cause. She called around to all the emergency clinics to find one that might be able to save him. After 3 hours of full care (they would not see anyone else who came in) they wanted to do surgery $2500 with a less than 50% chance. While I was on the phone with my husband, Batman stopped breathing. They put a tube down into his lungs to breath for him and blood suctioned out. At that point, they wanted to put him to sleep. It was a horrible day. I couldn't talk about it until now. He was such a sweet delicate baby and we are terribly sad and miss him so.
