Just wanted to make sure you girls were not washing your babies in flea shampoo when you are using Advantage. If you are, that is why it is washing off. Our Bayer reps teach us to tell our clients to use a mild Aloe/Oatmeal shampoo and not flea shampoo or human shampoo. The Advantage resides in their sebacious (sweat & oil) glands and if you use a harsh shampoo you wash all the oil off their skin. Advantage is waterproof and when it originally came out that was one of its biggest selling points. But if you use a flea shampoo you are washing it off. |
