And vacuum again! Make sure, too, that you 1) put the vacuum outside for a couple hours afterward, and 2) change the bag or empty the cup if you have a bagless, because they can crawl right back out of the vacuum cleaner.

Remember, too, that it takes a few weeks for eggs to hatch, so these could be eggs hatching from the initial infestation. Also, the flea treatment won't necessarily keep the fleas off. They can still get on your dog; they die from the secretion of the chemicals through the sebaceous glands. As others have said, you may also want to treat your yard. You can use pretty much any yard treatment, so long as it's used correctly. A lot of times it's best to spray it after a good, soaking rain; otherwise, you have to soak your yard yourself (to 1/4" deep) with a hose or sprinkler system.
