A question for allergy sufferers:
I've had problems with seasonal allergies only since I turned 40. (Same thing happened to my mom, so it was no surprise.) I've learned to deal with my itchy, watery eyes, the sneezing and stuffiness, and the sinus headaches, and I've been all right with over-the-counter meds. But now there seems to be a new problem.
The season kicked in for me early last week and was the usual stuff at first, but since Thursday, my ears are aching, and the right one seems to be very swollen inside. DD looked inside when I was over there today, and she said there isn't anything visible; it just looks red inside. Does anyone else have ear pain with their allergy symptoms? Am I at a point where I need to just get a definitive diagnosis from a doctor and get prescriptions drugs? Or is this perhaps just an illness, like maybe a sinus or ear infection?
Thanks, everyone, for your help. I'm in agony here!
