I only could find one single sentence about the fur thing, and it was from "wolf care managers" - so I couldn't gather much from one sentence. And, I've never heard this anywhere else.

As for the other link - as soon I got to "dogs are omnivores" - I couldn't put much validity in it, but I did skim it.
