Just do your homework...check them out good..and go with your gut. there are still some of us good guys out there, but unfortunately there are those shady breeders out there ruining it out there for the good honest breeders out there

I agree with Breny. I have purchased online and I do sell some of the puppies I raise online(two-three litters per year). I have learned to Google every piece of information I can get on a potential breeder or a buyer, name address phone #'s, anything. If there is something negative out there you want to know it. I have had a buyer send a person they knew from the area to see the actual puppy. The friend called them from our living room and let them ask questions. I doubt she'll ever buy a Yorkie anywhere else. Check references and ask questions, lot's of questions. The breeder should be asking you questions as well. I recently purchased a Yorkie from outside the country from lady with a very reputable program. I think I had to jump through more hoops than she did.
