Dezi the older one was hiding and protecting her face, but egging on Cassie at the same time. Dezi wants to play but not as rough and Cassie took it down a notch when she saw Dezi inviting her to play today. Unfortunately, Cassie gets carried away whenever she senses Dezi is playful and that ends it immediately. Today she backed off.
I know Dezi was in love with any other animal, that's why I did this. But Cassie is soooooooo boisterous. I'm sure it will calm down as she gets older but who wants to wish away puppyhood. I wanted to do this when Dezi was about 2 1/2 yrs but I had some surgery and financial problems because I couldn't work right away.
I don't think it's Dezi's age as much as her mannerisms. She's a very routine habitual girl and she wants things to be as she likes them. Any departure from her comfort zone doesn't work for her. She's a bit uptight.
But sosooo cute! I's funny when she gets moody, it doesn't fit with her appearance. Cassie gets spayed Monday
Maybe she will calm down afterwards. Was your boy at all like Dezi?
