There are a few people that work as YorkieTalk admins. To protect their privacy, most admins stay behind the scenes, which is how they would prefer it. All YorkieTalk admins have the same basic beliefs when it comes to how YorkieTalk is run. There are also members that work on the YorkieTalk server and database, which is in itself almost a full-time job. YorkieTalk is monitored by admins and moderators 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Though we would like to read every single post on YorkieTalk, we would guess there are posts that do not get read by YT admins or moderators due to the sheer volume of posts every day.

As of today, for private messages for admin:
Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 21247

We try to respond to each one that is relevant as soon as we can and we can get as many as 20 Private Messages a day, in addition to as many as 20 emails a day through the Contact Us link. We do try to respond to Profile Messages as well, but not every Profile Message we get receives a response, unless there is a question for us. YorkieTalk admins are here for the love of Yorkies and do our best to create a positive, fun, and welcoming environment for everyone in our community. The YT admins volunteer their time and effort. Each YT event, be it a UYR raffle or a YT Gift Exchange, takes many hours to run.

We'd also like to add no YT admins sell or broker or breed Yorkies (or any other live animals) nor do they sell any Yorkie-related products. Thus YT admins do have any conflicts of interest when it comes to any selling-related issues on YorkieTalk.
