My 23 year old niece moved to Murfreesboro, Tn this summer to take a teaching position and called my sister today. She has been very lonely and bought a 6 week old cocker puppy from some people selling it by Walmart!!! She is so excited but we are concerned as it is way too young and who knows what type of people these were selling a dog on the street. She did take it to Banfield and she has an ear infection but otherwise seemed ok. We want to find her an er vet just in case and possibly a pet sitter to stop in and see her during the work day. Does anyone in that area have a recommendation. I told her to get Nutrical and make sure she is eating before leaving her to go to work Monday. Also she has flights booked to come home at Thanksgiving and Christmas on Southwest that doesn't allow dogs so we don't know what she will do with th puppy then. Thanks for any input.
