My baby also does the paw thing when being cautious and approaching a new toy, much like my cat does. She also raises her behind giving that very feminine curvalicious pose when being playful either with her toys or while tossing and pouncing on her one kibble before eating it. She's afraid of heights to a certain degree but has no problem going on furniture; she's just content with the seat of the couch rather than braving the top.

She crazy licks and/or circles other dogs and my cat (to the point where my cat starts bopping her to slow down the face licking) as her way of playing with them, especially with the shy little ones who just lick back (mainly, it seems only the yorkies lick in play so far while the other dogs just circle and dance around with her with a few who would add barking to the game).

I watched a yorkie-mix in a pet store play with its one little kibble the way my baby plays with hers, so I'm sure that it's either a yorkie trait or a little dog thing. My shih-tzu and tibetan spaniel never even once did anything like that with their food in the years I've had them. They'd just wolf it down and move on.
