 New to Yorkies
Hello all,
During our recent evacuation from Hurricane Gustave, we had the pleasure of staying with a family that had three Yorkies. My daughter (who will be 15 in November) fell in love with them. I grew up with cats, so my knowledge about dogs is little to none. However, I was soooo impressed with how smart they are. They were truly a joy to be with. I have decided to find a female Yorkie for my daughter. My only concern is our family feline. Gabriel is 4 years old. He doesn't believe he is a cat. He thinks he's one of us! He's more of a "fraidy cat" than anything else. He's extremely docile and laid back. My question is: How will a Yorkie interact with a cat? Can the two cohabitate peacefully? |
