Lola had one ear up and one down when I brought her home at 12 weeks. She was like that for about another two months, but her other ear came up I its own. I thought she was so cute with one up and one down, I was kind of sad when the other one came up. But that's how she was intended to be, with two ears up. Some I think are meant to be with one up and one down. They're gorgeous dogs anyway so it doesn't really matter. But a friend of mine did have success with the tape method. I wouldn't shave it though, maybe a little trim, but you have to be really specific with groomers.
