Hello. Our female yorkie is pregnant and is expecting in early October. We are learning all we can about what to do in the delivery and after. We haven't been able to locate information on what to do with our male yorkie (the daddy). He is still a puppy (one year old) and they are quite inseparable. He is also still slightly wild and hasn't' calmed down much despite getting neutered following the mating. Is it okay to let him be around her while she is delivering? Following the delivery is it okay for him to be around the puppies? If not, how long she we wait to allow them to be together? Any information you can provide is helpful! Thank you.
