 Friday's Update
I just picked Emme up from her day at the vet and she looks 200x better than what she did when I dropped her off this morning. Let me just put it this way, she was nothing but a limp noodle this morning and I honestly thought that I would get the dreaded call today. They told me to check in after 2 and that was the longest time. When I called at 2 they told me she was still hanging in there. I was supposed to pick her up at 5:30 and I got there at 5:15. When they brought her out to me she was alert and looking. I took her in my arms and she gave me kisses like you had never seen before. We all were crying!!!
No...we are still not out of the woods yet but if she continues to do well like she did today and not fall back to where she was this morning I think by Monday we will have a better chance.

Here is a picture of her after we got home when she went to get a drink of water. She has both of her front legs shaved for the IV that they have to give her but she is looking GREAT!! |
