Hi - funny enough - my girl is dark, and ears didn't stand up. Both her parents were, and they were dark too. But hers just didn't. Her hair was and still is so thick, that's probably why....anyway, I think she is perfect in every way, and have come to love her long hair on her ears. Looks like a little girl with long hair
