All of my gals enjoy being hand fed in bed the first couple of days as they don't want to leave their pups. Mom is their only source of warmth, their shiver reflex hasn't kicked in yet. I keep my gals and their pups in my bathroom the first two weeks. The way it is broken up there is a separate room for mom to potty in, she won't want to potty near her pups. The room is temperature controlled and I can hear the pups at night. It's far enough from the other dogs that mom can rest easy. It sounds like your gal is torn between her maturnal duties and her desire to be with you. You'll either have to put the whelping box on your bed, continue to sleep on the floor, or put her back in the bathroom so she won't feel the conflict so strongly.
Weigh the pups regularly to make sure that they are gaining. As long as they are gaining they are nursing and are okay. Make sure that they are being diapered well and kept warm. Sounds like things are going fine.
