I am confident that the vet is right in her diagnosis. From my research she is the best vet in about a 75 mile radius. She is also an excellent surgeon.

I got the details:
Triss has Aseptic Necrosis of the Femoral Head. I looked it up online and this is about the time it would show up. (at 5 months old) It has something to do with growth and blocked blood flow to the area. A fall or tripping on something can make it apparent to the owners, but she would have started limping soon anyways.

Her surgery is scheduled for 8am on Tuesday.
