I would also be very cautious about meeting a complete stranger. Especially that stranger knows that you have money when meeting with them. There are news reports stating people doing business in Craigslist ends up getting robbed. I would verify the that they doggie day care is legit, if you are going to meet with him bring other people along with you (make sure your friend is big and looks intimidating). Also ask to see if you can have a play date to make sure that your dog and his dog will get along, make sure you illiterate that you are not bringing any money you and that you only want to meet the dog.
