He is at higher risk for genetic conditions because mill dogs are inbreed and no health testing is done, but he might stay perfectly healthy. The best advice is to start putting away money every month in a special account set up for vet bills only. It's a good idea to do with any dog, but especially important with one that may be at a higher risk for medical problems down the road.
