Good luck in your search! I also wanted to mention that alot of yorkies require alot of medical attention and if you're not prepared for that you might want to wait until you're stable enough. I had no clue what it would cost to maintain these little guys but I'm thankful that I can do it. One of my girls is almost at the vet every month because of her allergies and she has to see a ortho vet next week for her back knees. Most likely she will need surgery and this procedure is not cheap.
I lost a little girl over a year ago after heart surgery....cost $2500.00
Now I have a savings account just for their vet bills. I'm not saying that all yorkies are sick I'm just saying its a possibility and paying 500.00 for a puppy will most likely cost you way more in the long run. You can also rescue a yorkie for less but again be prepared for vet bills. |
