Default Continental Kennel Club???

I bought a very expensive 3 month old tiny male yorkie from the U.S. I live in Canada. I was told the male was registerable and the contract stated the same. The breeder knew I planned on using the dog as a stud. I finally received the registration papers and found out that the puppy is Continental Kennel Club registerable, not AKC registered like the other dogs I have imported from the U.S. Before this, I had never heard of the Continental Kennel Club. I discovered that the Canadian Kennel club won't register him, and AKC won't register him -- my females are Canadian Kennel Club registered and AKC registered, so I can't register this stud's puppies with the Canadian Kennel Club or AKC??? Now what do I do -- the breeder is playing "dumb" but I should have followed my instincts b/c I sensed the whole time prior to purchase that she was quick to talk about other things when I would say "when do I get those registration papers... he is registered isn't he..." in hindsight I'm sure she knew back then that this would cause me problems -- any suggestions?
