He said smaller breeds need the extra nutrients in the puppy food. Baron is on Royal Canin, He weighs 5 pounds and 9 ozs. at 9 months old. He said to mix the food 1/2 and 1/2 for 2 weeks then feed him all adult food. I hope this helps...
