So very sorry for your loss. I almost didn't reply, cuz it brings up such painful memories of loosing my Jack Russell this summer.
These little beings just take our hearts from day one. After they leave us, it's like a piece of our heart goes with them. I almost didn't get another dog, cuz I didn't want to risk my heart again, but then I realized its worth it for all the joy they bring to our lives. I too belive they are up there romping & playing & will meet us when our time comes & that gives me comfort. Take Care
