Sounds like Teddy is doing just fine and is acting like a normal pup. Your question about Diva seems to be the 'nature vs. nurture' one. She does sound a little stand-offish if she never played with Coco. Everyone, dogs and people, are born with certain temperaments but are influenced by their environment. It is common for doggie parents to lose that 'motherly instinct' for their pups, even if they're kept in the same home. I have two mothers here with their daughters that I've kept. Caty doesn't have much to do with her daughter but Bonnie, on the other hand, still mothers her daughter at 8 months old. I know you recently lost Coco but if you have any other dogs besides Diva at home, you may want to try leaving them to each other more so Diva is not so dependent on you for all her companionship. Depending on her age, Diva may be set in her ways and might always be a true 'diva' .
