 My Jeff Dane story
I bought a shorkie from Jeff about a year and a half ago. When my puppy arrived he had a quarter sized bump sticking out about 1/2 inch on his stomach that we found out was an umbilical hernia. The day we got the dog, before we found out what it was, we called Jeff immediately to tell him about the bump and his response was "Duh, he's a little boy!" Like we were THAT STUPID that we don't know what the dog's anatomy looks like. We emailed him to tell him what it was after we took him to the vet and we never got a response, surprise surprise. My dog was also infeceted with coccidia and he obviously didn't care about that either because after the sale was final he fell off the face of the earth and we could never get a hold of him again. I'm sure he would talk to us again if we wanted to buy another dog though. We feel he should have offered to compensate us for the surgery that my dog needed to correct his defect. The vet was like "Um WHERE did you get this dog from?" because he wasn't exactly in the best shape. I have to say though that everything turned out for the best because I couldn't love my dog more and he is pretty much the cutest thing in the entire world. Jeff is one rude dude though! |
