Does anyone have any suggestions on what to give a puppy to chew on. I've heard so many bad stories about, rawhide, pig ears, greenies, etc.... that I just don't know what is safe to give him. Right now I give him rawhide that I hold while he chews on it. But I guess he could still work off a little choke size piece before I could stop him. What about raw veggies? I know they are good for them, but couldn't they choke on them also?
Also, even though I try to never let him out of my sight, or put him in a controlled caged area, he eats everything he finds on the floor & in the grass. Yesterday, he threw up 5 times ( liquid) then had a bowel movement that kinda got stuck
....it ended up being a piece of unknown fabric...I suspect one of my kids socks. What a scare!!! He seems fine now. I feel like I have a 2 year old child who just can't keep things out of their mouth!!! I hope this stage passes soon.
