Not long after I posted this morning my husband realized he was shaking/twitching on the side he got the shot. So we called the 24 hour place and they said to wait until our vet opened and to call them. I was worried too because he didn't poop yesterday and wasn't eating very much. I started to get a little freaked out, so Matt was holding him and cuddling him and we decided to talk to her normal and act like he was okay.
THE LITTLE BOOGER!! As soon as we started to act like he was fine, he suddenly became fine. He isn't even yelping any more. He was for sure playing off of our worried emotions. He is still tired and is sleeping now, but as soon as we started talking to him in a playful voice instead of a worried voice he perked right up. He was soaking it up for all it was worth. He realized we were being cautious with him and decided to play it up!
Guess lesson learned

I'm just thankful he is okay! Tired and resting and still a *little* sore, but he is fine, playing and everything. Oh and he eventually pooped this morning, I think it is just because he didn't eat much yesterday.
