Hi,
Has your vet done any exray's on him? An exact Diagnose's of his injuries is extremely important. Did the vet give you any pain meds to administer? He must be in so much pain. I am thinking more can be done to ease his pain and suffering. That way he can continue to heal more comfortably.
I am sorry he was injured. I hope he will make a full recovery. However, it will take many months to heal fractured bones. That is why the vet needs to know for sure what is going on. Your dog may benifit from some sort of cast/sling/or bandage. To help him heal the right way. Also, if it does not heal properly he could be lame the rest of his life. Surgery is sometimes necessary to place the bones back together.
